What changes between the formats
A single-wall paper cup uses one main wall, while a double-wall cup adds an outer layer. That additional structure changes the feel, print surface and handling of the cup. It does not remove the need to assess the complete product specification.

Choose around service
Consider beverage temperature, how quickly the drink is consumed and how long customers hold it. Single-wall cups may be paired with sleeves for selected hot-drink service. Double-wall formats can provide a different holding experience and a broad outer branding surface.
Test the cup at the actual fill temperature with the intended lid. Observe staff handling, customer comfort and fit in holders or dispensers. Do not assume lids are interchangeable between nominally similar cup sizes.
Compare the complete system
Cost and storage should be assessed across the cup, sleeve, lid and operating process rather than cup price alone. A format that removes one accessory may affect storage differently; another may offer more flexibility across drinks.
For print, approve artwork on the correct dieline and review a sample. For environmental wording, rely on the exact board, lining and end-of-life information supplied for the chosen product, not the wall name by itself.
