Which Pizza Box Size Do You Need?
2 min read · Arrowpack Guides

Measure the pizza, allow practical clearance and test stacking before selecting a box.
Measure the finished product
Measure the pizza after baking, including the widest point and any variation created during preparation. The box needs enough internal clearance to avoid touching or compressing the crust, without being so large that the pizza moves during delivery.
Record diameter, height and any toppings that add unusual clearance. If you sell several recipes under one menu size, test the largest realistic example. Arrowpack size range and internal dimensions: [Add Arrowpack spec].
Account for service and delivery
A box is handled by kitchen staff, stacked at dispatch, carried by a rider and opened by the customer. Test how quickly it can be erected, whether tabs lock cleanly, and how it sits with other order items. Consider ventilation and food condition during the expected hold time.
For multiple pizzas, test the normal stack height. A box that performs alone may behave differently under weight. Check that printed areas remain visible and that labels do not obstruct vents or closures.
Create a simple size system
Reduce avoidable complexity by mapping each menu item to a documented internal box dimension. Keep the specification beside ordering information so purchasing and operations use the same reference.
Before a bulk order, approve a physical sample with the finished food. If branding is required, review artwork on the final dieline and confirm orientation when the assembled box is viewed by the customer.
